Does ECA offer part-time care?
ECA has only full-time care. Kids can come for as many hours as they like. But, if your child is signed up, you pay for the whole week, no matter how long they stay. You don’t have to pay if you use vacation days.
Do you help prepare my child for Kindergarten?
At ECA, our classrooms use the HighScope curriculum. It helps kids from birth to age five learn important skills and knowledge so they’re ready for kindergarten. We think working closely with families is really important to make sure all kids are prepared when they leave our Learning Programs.
How do teachers communicate with parents/guardians?
ECA believes it’s important for teachers and parents to talk easily with each other. This helps build a strong bond that supports a child’s growth both at home and at ECA.
We use the ELV Parent app for this, which you can get on Android and iOS phones. Just scan or click the QR code to download it from your phone’s app store.
Do you provide meals for the children?
Yes, we offer nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snacks daily, prepared in accordance with dietary guidelines.
How do you ensure the safety of the children?
Our facility is equipped with secure entry systems, and all staff members are trained in first aid and CPR to ensure a safe environment.
Do you accommodate special dietary needs?
Yes, we’re equipped to handle children with a variety of special dietary needs.
For special dietary need requests, see below.
- Download the Special Dietary Needs Form.
- Parents/guardians/adult participants complete parts 1 and 2 of the form.
- The child’s physician or medical authority (physician’s assistant or nurse practitioner) completes part 3.
